Brief Introduction
Founded by Mr Ip Shui Ming in the 1960s, Luen Tai is proud to be one of the leading Hong Kong electrical accessories manufacturer in the market. Started as a small family-run urea products manufacturing workshop in Hong Kong, Luen Tai has grown steadily throughout the years to bring our expanding product portfolio to every continent in the world, under the leadership of the Chairman Mr Dennis Ip and his sons Jeff Ip and Jesse Ip.
Currently Luen Tai has 2 main production facilities, 1 located in Shenzhen China (Est 1990s) and 1 located in Hai Duong Vietnam (Est 2008). Globally the group now has more than 700 employees and has product range covering most of the major electrical safety standards (i.e. Kitemark, ASTA, UL, VDE, AS/NZS, G-Mark, NF, IMQ and SABS etc..) Since our company inception, we have been actively expanding our product range to meet our customers’ needs and cover from plugs/adaptors, switches/sockets, lighting accessories, junction boxes, extension leads, cable reel panel, semi metal/plastic components to our latest developments on USB, energy saving, wifi and wireless charging function products.
Our customer base covers most of the major economies in the world and ranges from renowned international conglomerate brands to niche tailor-made entities, with mix of both OEM and ODM products. Thanks to the global trend toward South East Asia manufacturing, Luen Tai, as one of the very few that had adopted dual production bases outside of China, has enjoyed rapid growth in both sales and facilities in recent years.
