About Pinghu
Pinghu is located in the northeast of Longgang district with estimated 350 thousand inhabitants. It is at the intersection of Longgang / Baoan district and Shenzhen / Dongguan city, about 25 km away from the Hong Kong to the east, 19 km away from Shenzhen city to the west. It is within 1 hour driving distance from Yantian port, Shekou port and Shenzhen Airport. The city is connected by two affiliated railway Jingjiu and Guangjiu, conjointly with Jihe and Shuiguan highway and 4 main roads Danping, Dongshen, Pinglong, Pingxin. Pingxin train station can handle maximum 8,000 vehicles daily and is the traffic artery of Pinghu, because it connects with the Greater China infrastructure network and consolidate the good processing from land, air and sea transportation.
At the moment, there are 12 communities in Pinghu (in which 11 villages) and Pinghu is home to Huanan City (Major exhibition center in Guangdong province). This showcase the importance of Pinghu in Shenzhen City as national independent innovation demonstration zone, production demonstration zone, financial demonstration zone and cross-border e-commerce demonstration zone. In geographic and transportation aspects, Pinghu have a big advantage, as it is only 20 minutes to Longgang district, 25 minutes to Shenzhen City, 30 minutes to Hong Kong and 45 minutes to Macau. In 2016, GDP by industry increase 11.2% compared with the previous year and in 2017 the increase was 12%.
